Don't Deify Your Desires!!

What I've learned over the years is that "feelings AREN'T facts!"...

Sometimes we act as if what we feel has the right to lead our lives, but on the contrary, they are to be led by our Born Again spirit man. During the holiday season there is a great temptation to allow the hustle and bustle of the season to dictate the way that we are to navigate through our days but that couldn't be further from the truth.

If left unchecked we would fall prey to the anxiety that threatens to consume us because of the pressures and perceptions of what "should be"...ENOUGH OF THAT!!! Our feelings are NOT the boss therefore we MUST dethrone them from the place in our lives that they were NEVER designed to hold! Fear stops us from moving in the Faith necessary to pursue dreams, goals and passions. Anxiety holds some captive to the place of frozen stagnation that cuts off the flow of productivity and progress (and its also based in fear).

One of the most powerful weapons that we have the ability to wield, obedience to God, is greatly impacted by feelings if allowed. Our obedience is a weapon because when done consistently it positions us in a place of favor with the Father that the enemy can NOT touch. When we obey the prompting of the Spirit of God, when compelled to come away and seek His face, there are valuable instructions, equipping, protection, revelation and increased sensitivity to His leading. The feeling of tiredness can impede your traction...don't let it!

The feeling of inadequacy can impeded your insight...don't let it!

The feeling of loneliness can rob you of time and focus...but you don't have to let it!!

Because of the truth of God's Word....we can walk in the Spirit and NOT after our flesh. Meditate that Truth so that you can see the manifestation of it in your life.

Don't deify ANYthing that doesnt have the power to BE a deity!

We lead LED LIVES!!

LED by the Word of God, LED by the Will of God, LED by the Way of God.

Galatians 5:16 (AMP)

"But I say, walk habitually in the [Holy] Spirit [seek Him and be responsive to His guidance], and then you will certainly not carry out the desire of the sinful nature [which responds impulsively without regard fro God and His precepts].
